The restaurant had a nice Atmosphere. The server and the host was very nice and friendly. The sushi was excellent and the Jasmin Rice was on point. I also had the Crispy Ginger Chicken... it was very tasty and good but a bit soggy. This could be due to the sauce being poured on and was ready to be served. It maybe sat in the kitchen a bit too long before it was served to me. However, this is not to take away from the taste. This was my first time at the restaurant. In any case, I will give it another try as I understand these things can happen. The restaurant is also a great place for groups.
I liked the Vegi lunch but the pieces of tofu were not fresh or very hard and too „paniert“ and „frittiert“. I would prefer if they are just normal cubes of tofu. I liked that my request to being sauce separately (not from first time though) was followed :) I didn’t like that the waiter started immediately the push to sell:“which water would you like: still or sparkling?“ But there is a drink (tee/coffee) included into lunch and your water costs 10.- which is 1/3 of my lunch (28.-). This was not good. I wanted to eat my lunch without extra water etc. My friend had to order this pushed water. Next time i will be more definite.
Das Hato befindet sich unweit des Paradeplatzes und ist ein tolles Restaurant. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, grosse Auswahl auf der Speisekarte an Vorspeisen und Hauptgängen aber auch an Weinen. Der Service hat uns aufmerksam beraten und wir haben uns sehr genossen. Manchmal gab es zu wenige Kellner auf all die vielen Leute, ansonsten aber sehr empfehlenswert. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die Atmosphäre und der Asian Mix.
The food is very good. However, the service can be improved. For example: we were placed at a - shared - high table in the far corner of the restaurant and our waiter misunderstood our orders several times. Also note that the food is relatively expensive: we paid CHF 650 for 5 persons (while we only had 1 bottle of wine).
Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Unser Kellner war sehr, sehr, sehr gut. Die Beleuchtung ist jedoch sehr schlecht, zuerst wurde uns ein Tisch zugewiesen. wo es fast komplett dunkel war. Zum Glück hat uns dann der Kellner einen anderen Tisch gegeben. Aber auch dort war die Beleuchtung nicht zureichend um zu essen. Sonst alles sehr gut.
HATO war eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants! Das letzte Mal war ich vor einem halben Jahr dort essen und dieses Mal waren wir sehr enttäuscht! An der Rezeption wurden wir mit einem Ton wie im Millitär abgefertigt und nach 1,5 h stand der Chef (?) neben unserem Tisch und meinte zum Kellner in einer Lautstärke, sodass wir es auch wirklich hören: Die nächsten Gäste für diesen Tisch sollten gleich kommen und suchte immer wieder Blickkontakt zu uns! Obwohl wir eine halbe Stunde nur auf die Vorspeise warten mussten! Es war sehr laut und ungemütlich und extrem hektisch! Der Kellner hat sich sehr Mühe gegeben und war freundlich aber die Atmosphäre lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich habe mich nicht wohl gefühlt und ich werde auch nicht mehr ins HATO gehen. Da speise ich lieber wo anders in anderer Atmospäre.
