Swiss Chuchi

Meine Mutter hatte Geburtstag und wir haben extra reserviert - alles sonst gut verlaufen, sehr sehr voll und eng wie immer aber okay. Am Ende kam der Kellner schon sehr oft sehr aufdringlich, ob wir denn schon fertig sind und ob er abräumen könne und am Ende (wir waren noch nicht lange da) wurden wir mit dem Satz „wir brauchen den Tisch, es warten noch Leute“ rausgeschmissen. Das hat den gesamten Abend sehr vermiest und man kam sich sehr unerwünscht vor - Hauptsache schnell neue Gäste und mehr Geld..

Der Service war sehr freundlich, leider ein bisschen laut aber das Essen war sehr gut.

Empfang, Bedienung sowie Essen TOP! Einziger minus Punkt: Bei voll besetztem Lokal führt der Lautstärke Pegel dazu, dass man teilweise die Gesprächspartner nicht mehr wirklich versteht. Ansonsten wirklich absolut zu empfehlen!

Ihr Servicemitarbeiter Vladimir ist absolut top! So eine gute Bedienung hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr. Extrem aufmerksam, freundlich, zuvorkommend und gut gelaunt.

There is a warning at booking that it is for 90 minutes. When the restaurant is fully booked, this time is not realistic for a meal that goes with a round of dessert at the end. But there was no pressure to let us leave in spite of an "overtime" of 20 minutes. But presumably, some people who booked after us had to wait at the entrance

It was an interesting experience as it was our first time having Swiss cheese fondue and raclette. The staff was friendly and he taught us how to eat the cheese fondue and cook the food in the raclette. Food is not bad and price is quite reasonable (food prices are on the higher side since this is Switzerland).

Kellner war sehr freundlich, aber das Restaurant war sehr voll und laut.

Ohne Reservierung hätten wir wohl lange warten müssen, aber wir konnten sogar früher an den reservierten Tisch. Das Klientel besteht hauptsächlich aus Touristen. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und der Service freundlich, wenn auch zu Stoßzeiten nicht so zügig wie gewünscht... dafür können die Kellner, die stets bemüht sind nichts. Der Geräuschpegel ist bei vollem Lokal durchaus hoch, tut aber dem Genuss keinen Abbruch.

Showed up 10 minutes before our reservation and we were seated within minutes. The waiter, Dennis, was very helpful. We had the House and meat fondue. Both were excellent. A nice place to eat with a very cozy atmosphere.

The service was good. There are many options on the menu and simplest ones are the best choices. We liked the food and enjoyed the evening.

The food is excellent. The service is chaos. Make a reservation and skip the very long lines at dinner time. Be assertive on your needs. With so much chaos, you can slip through the cracks.

The Raclette they serve is okay, but nothing more than okay. The cheese slices are so thin that 180gr makes 8-9 slices and you can put 2 slices at a time into the oven to get a normal amount of cheese. The cheese does not taste like much. Pickels are disgusting! Potatos are too hard. We were 4 people and all of us are Swiss. I am writing this in English to make sure tourists are able to read it and know this is not a good experience of Raclette. Although I am not sure you can have good Raclette in a restaurant.

El lugar es muy elegante, todos te atienden muy amablemente y el fondue es muy rico. Con el idioma no tienes problema pues todos hablan perfectamente inglés. Los precios son algo elevados pero si consideramos que está ubicado en uno de las ciudades mas caras del mundo y el precio de una comida común en otro lado realmente la relación precio-calidad es bien compensada.

Fondue ottima, cameriere molto gentile, tavolo un po’ piccolo per tre persone. Ci torneremo!

Good food but bad service, weren't friendly or attentive. The prices were high but that's normal for Zurich.

We were able to make reservations for a large group with only a few hours notice. then we had 6 extra people & they were able to find a space for all of us. the waiters were very busy but very helpful & friendly. Always a great place for Cheese fondue & raclette!
